Another research report completed by UC Berkley (2017) stated that time in class is when students are most productive. Important class time is wasted taking attendance, so being able to remove the amount of time taken by attendance would be beneficial to students. AutoAttend assisted with this issue by using a fingerprint scanner to sign students into the classroom.
