The work contains original and selected lessons (readings) on familiar subjects adapted to their level of comprehension. Engravings illustrate many lessons. Moral principles are taught through binaries such as good and evil, kindness and cruelty, and truth and falsehood. Schultz Archive copy is roughly the entire text.
