Dr. Pickle and her colleagues are studying best practices for training future generations of health care professionals in transgender medicine.  University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is one of the only US Medical Schools to have a nationally published, dedicated transgender medicine curriculum.\r\n\r\nStef Murawsky, MA, WGSS, Ph.D. Candidate, Sociology Pronouns: they/them/theirs\r\n\r\nUniversity of Cincinnati Department of Sociology\r\n\r\nI am currently completing a qualitative dissertation that explores transgender patient experiences of navigating and managing a stigmatized gender identity in biomedical contexts.
