Not surprisingly, many libraries manage multiple social media accounts on top of traditional marketing strategies. However, not many libraries have developed a strategic digital marketing strategy that synthesizes areas such as video marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), mobile marketing, and even outreach through traditional marketing channels. These additional digital marketing channels are equally as important as social media, yet play different roles in attracting, retaining, and engaging users. As users spend an increasing amount of time online searching, it is essential for them to identify the right library resources in a search engine, find the right event in their email and social media, and develop a sense of loyalty through valuable content generated in videos and blogs. Planning for channel overlap as well as users that a campaign may have missed is an essential part of this strategy. This paper is intended to provide an overview of the multi-channel digital marketing landscape and its application in libraries. Recommended actions are provided as well."],"license_tesim":["http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/"],"date_created_tesim":["August 24, 2018"],"related_url_tesim":["http://library.ifla.org/2259/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/downloads/nk322f704?file=thumbnail","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-depositing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_ids_ssim":["nk322f704"],"file_set_ids_ssim":["nk322f704"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"sort_title_ssi":"BEYOND SOCIAL MEDIA A CURRENT VIEW OF THE DIGITAL MARKETING LANDSCAPE IN LIBRARIES","human_readable_type_tesim":["Article"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["chengh2@ucmail.uc.edu"],"nesting_collection__pathnames_ssim":["3j3333419"],"nesting_collection__deepest_nested_depth_isi":1,"_version_":1697103056098820096,"timestamp":"2021-04-15T10:46:36.896Z","score":0.00049999997},{"system_create_dtsi":"2019-06-26T18:27:41Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2019-06-26T19:18:24Z","has_model_ssim":["Document"],"id":"x633f243h","accessControl_ssim":["f0e7a91c-77fe-4286-9975-0e5613a04b89"],"hasRelatedMediaFragment_ssim":["r781wh233"],"hasRelatedImage_ssim":["r781wh233"],"depositor_ssim":["chengh2@ucmail.uc.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["chengh2@ucmail.uc.edu"],"title_tesim":["Top Three Challenges Working with Chinese Partners"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2019-06-26T18:27:41Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2019-06-26T18:56:17Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"genre_tesim":["Document"],"note_tesim":["Presentation for the 21st Annual Colloquium on International Engineering Education, Newport, Rhode Island, November 1-2, 2018"],"college_tesim":["Libraries"],"department_tesim":["CEAS Library (Engineering \u0026 App Sci)"],"creator_tesim":["Cheng, Hong"],"publisher_tesim":["University of Cincinnati"],"subject_tesim":["International Education"],"language_tesim":["English"],"description_tesim":["If your organization is interested in establishing and developing a joint international program in\r\nChina, it is inevitable to face both manageable risks and unpredictable changes. In this paper a new structure for control of stable and integrating time delay systems is presented. The control design process is as simple as selection of some constant gains, for which simple formulae are introduced. The design methods are derived analytically, while no fractional approximation for the time delay term of the plant transfer function is used. Simulation, as well as, experimental studies reveal the exceptional effectiveness of the proposed methods in achieving a robust and well-performing tracking, even when the plant pure time delay is very large. © 2016, Brazilian Association of Computational Mechanics.
