The preface gives credit to Wallis, Harris, Lowth, Greenwood (as older grammarians) and Murray, Crombie, Latham, Webster, Brown (as modern), and Bopp, Becker, Kuhner and Andrews and Stoddard for contributions to the philosophy and method of language. The Schultz Archive's excerpt only covers roughly the first 59 pages, including preface, basic orthography, and nouns. It does, however, also include two appendixes and the index, which lays out the contents of this 373 page text.
