Consciously accessible feels or moods may play an integral role in the maintenance of physical well-being by leading to instrumental action which reduces extremes in physiological response. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the relation between mood regulation traits and actual self report mood during an experimental task wherein the participant is repeatedly asked to choose the difficulty of a math task, followed by administration of a mood scale.
