Habitat: Sandstone bluffs and gorges; creek floodplains; associated with Oak; hickory; maple; tulip poplar; some hemlock; Rock Type = /sandstone; s.s. conglomerate.; On narrow; mosit sandstone ledge in hardwoods.
Locality: Lake Katarine State Nature Preserve; W of Jackson. End of Rock Hill Rd.; near lake.
Habitat: old fields standing in water; associated with Aulaconnium palustre; numerous Sphagnum; Polytrichum commune; Rock Type= calcareous soil.; small mounds in standing water.
Locality: East Fork State Park; ca. 1.8 mi. S of Afton; due west of Cabin Run Creek.
Habitat: Sandstone bluffs and gorges; hemlock/hardwood coves; floodplains; upland and mixed hardwood forests; pine forests; associated with oak; maple; tulip poplar hemlock; pine; Rock Type = Sandstone conglomerate.; on moist soil over sandstone; E. rim.
