Description/Abstract:

Habitat: Upland mixed hardwoods, sandstone bluffs, hemlock/hardwood coves, floodplains, pine forests; associated with oak, maple, hickory, tulip poplar, hemlock, pines; Rock Type= sandstone, sandstone conglomerate.; on wet sandstone, top of gorge, mixed with Pseudotaxipyllum elegans. Locality: Little Rocky Hollow State Nature Preserve, first hollow W of Kreachbaum Rd. (Co. Rd.9) and N of Big Pine Rd. (Co. Rd. 11); Sec. 26, Laurel Twp., South Bloomingville Quad.
