Habitat: Sandstone gorges and ravines with hemlock/hardwood covers, upland hardwood stands, floorplains, pine stands; associated with oak, maple, hemlock, tulip poplar, pine; Rock Type= sandstone, sandstone conglomerate.; on vertical sandstone cliff face, head of main gorge.
Locality: Sheick Hollow State Nature Preserve, paralleling Hockman Rd.(Twp. Rd. 238) between Gibisonville & Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve, off OH 374
