Habitat: Sandstone gorges and ravines, with henlock/hardwood coves, upland hardwood stands, floodplains, pine stands; associated with oak, maple, hemlock, tulip poplar, pine; Rock Type = sandstone, sandstone conglomerate; on root of hardwood, upland hardwoods. Locality: Sheick Hollow State Nature Preserve, paralleling Hocknan Rd. (Tup. Rd. 238) between Gibisonville & Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve, off OH 374 sec 27 laurel twp, S. Bloomingville Quad
