Habitat: Sandstone bluffs and gorges, hemlock/h ardwood coves, floodplains, upland mixed hardwood forests, pine forests, associated with oak, maple, tulip poplar, hemlock, pine; Rock Type = sandstone, sandstone conglomerate Species habitat: on exposed clay in roadbed, with Notothylas, ftnthoceros, Phaeoceros, ilicromitriua, Archidium.
