Habitat: Sandstone bluffs and gorges, hemlock/hardwood coves, floodplains, upland mixed hardwood forests, pine forests, associated with oak, maple, tulip poplar, hemlock, pine; Rock Type = sandstone, sandstone conglomerate; on moist, bare soil in old roadbed.
