I am getting an "Invalid DOI detected" error:

At times you may want to attach a pre-existing DOI to a work in Scholar@UC. If you are having trouble adding an existing DOI to a work in Scholar@UC, it is most likely because of the "http://dx.doi.org/" added to your DOI when copy and pasted from a web browser.

If you are trying to create a work with an existing DOI and you try to enter "http://dx.doi.org/doi:10.5072/FK2WD3X38W". You will receive the following error:

However, if you were to remove the first part of the DOI URL, of the form: http://dx.doi.org/doi:10.5072/FK2WD3X38W, You will see that Scholar@UC now recognizes the DOI and work creation can proceed as normal:
