Habitat: Sandstone gorges and ravines, with hemlock/hardwood coves, upland hardwood stands, floodplains, pine stands; associated with oak, maple, hemlock, tulip poplar, pine; Rock Type = sandstone, sandstone conglomerate Species habitat: in seepy, narrow crevice along sandstone ledge.

Locality: Sheick Hal low State Nature Preserve, paralleling Hockman Rd. (Two. Rd. 238) between Gibisonville & Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve off OH 374.
