Habitat: Upland mixed hardwoods, sandstone bluffs, hemlock/hardwood coves, floodplains, pine forrests; associated with oak, maple, hickory, tulip poplar, hemlock, pine; Rock Type=sandstone, sandstone conglomerate.; on wet, sandy soil on sandstone ledge, in gorge.

Locality: Little Rocky Hollow State Nature Preserve, first hollow W of Kreachbaun Rd.(Co. Rd. 9) and N. of Big Pine Rd. (Co. Rd. 11); sec 26,Laurel Twp., South Bloomingville Quad.
