Habitat: Sandstone gorges and ravines, with hemlock/hardwood coves, upland hardwood stands, floodplains, pine stands; associated with oak, maple, hemlock, tulip poplar, pine; Rock Type = sandstone, sandstone conglomerate; on rotting hardwood log, w Porella, Fissidens, Platygyrium, mixed hardwoods, upper region.

Locality: Sheick Hollow State Nature Preserve, paralleling Hockman Rd. (Twp. Rd. 238) between Gibisonville !t Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve, off OH 374.
