Habitat: Sandstone bluffs and gorges, hemlock/hardwood coves, floodplains,upland mixed hardwook forests, pine forests; associated with oak, maple, tulip poplar, hemlock, pine; Rock Type = sandstone, sandstone conglomerate.; on trunk of Carpinus, near swamp at S end of Crane Hollow.

Locality: Crane hollow Nature Preseve[Crane Hollow, Inc.]; S of Gibisonville & N of Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve; E of OH 374 & W of Crest Ridge Rd.
