Habitat: Sandstone gorges and ravines, with hemlock/hardwood coves, upland hardwood stands, floodplains, pine stands: associated with oak, maple, hemlock, tulip poplar, pine; Rock Type = sandstone, sandstone conglomerate; Species habitat: wet sandstone floor of creek, E rim, bottom of hollow.

Locality: Sheick Hollow State Nature Preserve, paralleling Hockman Rd. (Twp. Rd. 238) between Gibisonville & Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve, off OH 374.
