A grammar textbook written for beginning and advanced students. Part one consists of model oral lessons, on subjects such as naming things, action-words, and word-picturing. Part two covers a more systematic arrangement of the classifications of grammar and includes questions and illustrative examples. Part three covers the properties and modifications of speech with models for parsing and analysis. Part two includes synthetic exercises, while part three has exercises in false syntax. Review questions are used. The Schultz Archive's copy is roughly the complete text.
