The author is credited as a reverend with a Master of Arts degree; as Principal of the classical and Mathematical Institute, Newburgh; and as the author of Something for Every Body. The Schultz Archive copy contains the TOC, the first page of the preface, and the text of chapter 3: tools and instruments.
